Our Special Gift - Desirea Marie

This is our Special little granddaughter who is one of a kind.  She is a single child and she has gone thru so much for a 6 year old girl.  NOW she is free from the father that use to be soooo mean to her that she started having nightmare because of him.

She love to dance and wanted to be in a Jazz Group but her leader told her mother that she will be a good dancer cause she has the drive to want it so bad.  But to be in Jazz she has to take  2 years of Ballet.  Then at the end of the two years she can go into Jazz.  But her leader told our daughter when they took her in that she may not be in any shows the first year because of her age and and not knowing that much.  Well she has only been in there for 4 months and on June 4th was her first show.  Her teacher can't get over how great she is.

There is only one little girl younger then her and that was just a couple of months and Desirea had the shortest time of training compared to Desirea.

I don't know what that posse is called but she sure can tell you. She is so beautiful in her New outfit.  Her wonderful other Grandmother paid for this outfit for the show.  The outfit not counting the tights was $65.00.  Our daughter had to get the rest for her.

She had so much fun and did a wonderful job at her new dance so someday watch out people here she comes.

She couldn't find her parents because it was just to dark and she is trying too but gave up after a while.

She was so happy that the teach choice her and another student to stand beside her at the end of the show.

I want to say thank you so much for coming by and looking at my pictures and for taking that time away from the things you like to do.

Thanks for coming by..

Remembering My Father

My father has been gone since May 2002 and I miss him so much so I want to honor him by doing this in his name and sharing him with each of you. This first picture was taken about 64 years ago and what a wonderful father he was and always well be for me.

David & Genenvieve Richey Russell

The Russell Family
My father holding my brother David E. Russell
My mother was holding my hand Donna M Russell
My sister Vicki D was right behind in and in front of our father.
This picture was taken around 10 Sep 1950 in Cherryville, Oregon.
One month later we was living in the Big, YES BIG City of Pilot Rock Oregon.
That town wasn't even as big a spot in the road.  But my father got a job for very good pay for driving a logging truck in that area so we all got moved to the Big city of Pilot Rock.
That is where he lived the rest of his life and that is where he took us hunting and fishing and camping and mushroom hunting and all those fun things to teach is girls.

He love to hunt, fish and he loved to go mushroom hunting and then saling his mushroom for $25.00 to $30.00 a lb for them.  He always told our mother if he could pick where he died it would be up in the mountains doing what he loved to do.  Well on May 28th 2002 that is just what happened.  He went mushroom hunting and never came home.  We found him at 3 in the morning.

I miss him so much when my husband was having all of his heart surgeries (5) of them he was there to help me and be there for me.  He was at my right hand every day to be strong for me.  I will miss that so much.
Daddy your daughter loves you and misses you so much.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you honored your fathers.
Have a great day with them and enjoy them while you still have them. Tell them how much you love them now while they are with you.

Thanks again for coming by.

Lets see if these are Good Enough ? ? ? ? ?

Yes another set of cards and some of these I love the the BEST.  But I do have a few more post to add before I go to bed for the night.

I know I have tried to center everything on this one but for some reason one of them just don't want to center.  For that I'm so sorry.

I'm having a lot of fun and I know my cards may never be featured on here but I want you each to know how much fun I am having at making them and having people want them.  I even want to make a few for a lady that is as poor as I am and I know she can't buy them so I'm going to make her some just because I care about her and love her as a great friend.  She show me how she feels about me.

Thanks again for sharing.

Which One Should I use?

You know I have been busy making things to put on birthday cards plus some other cards. So for the last few days I have been making cards.. So tonight if you all don't mind I have about 28 to put on here. I want to share them with all of you. I know that they aren't the best but I still like them and some are very simply and that is what I like.

But before I go to far I'm having a problem seeing if they all match up to make sure they are coming on here as sets.

These are someone who is sick or in the hospital.  I sure hope all my family and friends are all well and in good health.

Thank you for coming by and I hope you will enjoy these and I have more to come yet.
