Is It Your Birthday??

I haven't been able to post any comments to anyone blogs and even my own blog so I have been making cards instead.  But my poor husband has been pretty sick since Friday so I haven't done much.  He hasn't been able to eat since then so he has been pretty weak.  He ate a meal last night and that was the first.  So today he got up two times on us and he passed out.  Thank heavens our son was home with me.  He got hime up and back into his chair to stay until he felt better.

The card up above is the inside of the card just above it. I wanted to do something different so this is what I did.

Tutorial - Shirt for Cards or Scrapbooking

I was asked to do a tutorial on how I made it.  Please be kind this is the first time I have done this.  BUT if you can give me some advice how to make this better I would love it.  Sorry about a lot of pictures so I hope I didn't over do it.  First i cut the paper to 4 inches wide and 6 inch long. The longer the paper the longer the shirt will be. OKAY here we go:

Thank you for coming by and I hope this is enough to show how to make a shirt without all the writing in between the pictures.  PLEASE if i need to go and edit it and do the writing please let me know I will glady do it.  But if you follow it step by step you should be able to make one.  The first one I ever made was 4 x 8 but it made the shirt to long for my cards so I made it 4 by 6 and I like it better.

My NSD - Three Cards

Saturday  May 21 was my NSD.  What a great day it was I had about 12 people there and I handed out and I even did a special gift about half way thru the day.  I handed out he flowers in a box, but the box wouldn't stand so I put them in a cup.

This is a card I made for my granddaughter. The paper is from Leo and Stist or how ever you spell that little guys name. But when I was making it The ladies in the group wanted to know how to make it so I gave them all 4 by 6 pieces of paper and showed them how to score the long way one inch from each side and fold into the middle. Then score it at the top one half inch done and fold it over. Then at the bottom of it score a "V" at the bottom and then lay the two side lay out so it looks likethe sleeve. Then fold it in half from the then tuck it under the collar to make it look like the shirt. Then I put to pink brads in as buttons to hold it together. Every lady there loved it and wanted to try it. Which was great and the loved making it and I came prepared to have them made and take it home. What a great and fun day we had.

This card is just like the girls card. This one will be used for the boy who shares his birthday with his sister. Both born on the same day but year years apart.. I love the "Ohappy day" that I put on this one. Our grandson can read this one and really enjoy being able to read it. But now I will put it away until his birthday and then bring it out and give it to him with a couple of dollars in it for him.

This card can be used for Birthday, Annver., School Awards or just about anything that you want to honor them for something great in their life and what great things they have done. We can celebrate at almost anything and we don't need a reason to have a party to haonor someone for something. From the smallest thing to the largest. For a young man winning his first game or a young lady performing at a dance program.

Fathers Day and other Card

I'm showing you all the cards that I have been working on for about a week now.  I really need all of your help.  I want to how you feel about these cards and would you buy them to share with others. I also would like idea how I can improve these and make them better.

The two cards above was made with Father's Day in mind. Can you help me with more idea or better idea's.  I loved making the shirts it was so fun and I'm still making them.

The above card has thank you inside it and this one was fun making. I love the little vellum quotes.  It is so nice to be able to use something without using my own hand writing.

The one above has Thinking of You or Thank You in the inside.

This one has a verse on the inside of it. This card can be used for almost anything.
