I'm Excited to Use my Scrap'n Easel

I'm excited to use as much as I do.  I won this from Sarah our Pink Cricut lady.  I love her blog. she asked what would I use it for if we won it.  Will my list is what won it and I have been so grateful for winning it I have used it for some many things.

Here is another set of my page layout for the wedding ablum that I am working on.  Thanks for the two comments that I got on the last page I showed you.

These two pages are of the Bride and her daughter before the wedding was to start.  She loves to play jokes and loves to tease people.  She is a joy to be around and a lot of fun.  We (Papa & I) are so grateful that she came into our sons life.  I feel the good Lord had his hands in this couple.  The way things has worked out for them.

I hope you will let me know how you feel about these pages I would like your advice on them.  You can't hurt my feelings or I wouldn't be asking you.  Please let me know what you think.

Title page Layout

Okay Ladies, I have not been feeling good the last two days.  So I haven't gotten much done on my Wedding Album.  But I do have one done and it is the Title Page. I just want to introduce the family.  Even if it was their wedding day but the children had a lot to do with it, because it was two families coming together to become one family.

Now I would like to ask you if you like this or if I can add something to this page to make it better. I know some of you don't scrapbook but if you have anything you think I should add to it to make it better please let me know.

I do have some rhinestones on the flower area's.  But what can I add to it to make it look better.

Okay ready to start IT!

Okay I have made enough cards to make it to July or even maybe into August.  So now is the time to Start IT.  Yes i know I don't if I can do it but I'm going to start it anyhow.  I just hope and pray that my daughter in law will like it.  I'm a worry wort and i worry that she won't but I'm going to share it with you as I go and let you be the judge and please please be honest with me.  IF you don't like it please let me know. I really want it to be in good taste and I really want her to like it.  I think that is one reason I have put this off.  PLUS  the last two or three post I have put on here no one or not very many has even left me a post or like or anything.  So I'm not sure if you are tried of me or I'm not just hitting your spot just yet.

Yes it is time to start this.  I'm really worried about it but I need to get it done and I really hope that she will like it for some reason that is what I'm really worried about.  But I will do my best and if she doesn't like I will keep it.  So if you are a sister to my daughter in law you know who you are PLEASE leave me a message if she would or wouldn't.  You sisters I sure can use your help.

Golden Graham Cupcakes The Story: When you think about your childhood memories with cereal, you probably remember sitting at the kitchen table in the morning doing the puzzles and trivia on the back of the cereal box. Or maybe it’s eating out of a mixing bowl because you were that hungry. Congratulation, you are normal. I on the other hand am not. This cereal reminds me of the wind on my face on a summer morning in a little boat crossing Lake Powell. My brothers and I ate with a plastic spoon out of styrofoam bowls and my Grandfather was at the rudder. Golden Graham Cupcakes Yield: 24 Cupcakes Ingredients Cake: 1 Box White Cake Mix 3 whole eggs 1/2 cup oil 3/4 cup buttermilk 3/4 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup fine graham cracker crumbs Golden Graham Buttercream: 1 cup butter, softened 3-4 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup Golden Graham "powder" milk as needed Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line pans with cupcake liners. 2. From your 1/2 cup of fine graham cracker crumbs, place 1 teaspoon in each cupcake liner and gently shake pan to evenly disperse. 3. In a large bowl, combine eggs, oil, buttermilk, sour cream and vanilla extract. 4. Sift in cake mix and stir until well combined. 5. Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full (you will be placing your batter on top of your graham cracker crumbs). 6. Bake for 17-22 minute or until an inserted knife comes out clean. 7. Golden Graham "powder": Use a food processor or a rolling pin to crush about 1 cup of Golden Graham cereal. Then, sift cereal. Whatever sifts through, is your "powder." 8. Buttercream: Beat butter for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Scrape down bowl as needed. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Add Graham Cracker "powder." If the buttercream becomes too thick or resembles cookie dough texture, stay calm! Slowly add milk until it reaches the consistency you need. 9. Last Peek-A-Boo Card.

I love these frames.  I really think they are cool and really add to the cards.  I'm just not sure what to do with the rest of the card so I don't take away from the Peek-A-Boo.  I want to use them cause I like them.  What a great way to say Happy Birthday behind the little windows.

Three Flowers

This one is all Yellow with some Orange and Red.  These flowers was made by the Big Shot and I put them together, to hold them together I put small colored brads in them.  Then I put a 3D foam pad sticker to make it stand out a little.  What a great way to catch their eyes.

Peek-A-Boo Card

I made two sets of the Peek A Boo cards.  These are just plain simple and not very fancy at all.  I did that cause I wanted their eyes going to the Peek A Boo  frame.  Then of course inside is a special not or something to show that it is a birthday card.  You be the judge and please give me ideas of what else I could do to make it better if you want to.  I don't mind at all.

This has a flower on it also and that is to help keep it closed.

Do you like Red?

How about a Red card?  My mother and my daughter both love red.  This one I put the Happy Birthday out on the card to hold it together and I put a special note inside. Also room for the card to be signed.

I used these Epoxy Stickers and how they make my cards look so nice and fancy.

Black Happy Birthday.

Here is another gate fold card with the Epoxy Stickers.  But also I did Happy Birthday inside.  but I wanted the Happy Birthday to stand out just a little so I took it and layed the front of it on my black ink pad and pushed on it until some of the black ink got onto it then to help it to stand out a little better I put the form pad on it to make it stand out and off the paper.  Here is what I'm talking about it.

Epoxy Stickers.

I love Epoxy stickers they make my cards and layout in my album stand out.  To me they add a beauty to it and make them extra special.  These 6 cards that I'm putting on is from today.  I didn't get much done today cause I had family come in and we got a lot of good visiting in and I'm so glad they came in and had a great lunch and some good visiting.  I only have 6 but I took two pictures of each so I will be putting them as six different post tonight. I hope you will like them anyhow.

This is the real gate fold.  The other ones are a gate fold also but this is the main gate fold by what Jinger told us. Thes cards today are all of this fold and I have been having a great time making them.  Just since I started on Tuesday I have made over another 46 cards.  This bunch should get me thru July.  So on Tuesday I going to start working on my albums.

The more I work with machine the more I love it. This machine sure helps my cards to look so much better.  These die are so wonderful and I'm having so much fun with them.

These are so fun to make that I would love to make all of my cards like this one but I love the gate fold also and the stand up one and just the A2 size cards.  I have learned so much from all of you ladies and I'm very grateful for each and everyone of you.  Thank is a Great Big Thank You to each and everyone of you who help me.
